Asser Design & Construction's previous homepage lacked a touch of modernity that helps a brand stay relevant and up-to-date in the competitive digital space. They realized that without a serious update, their website was losing user engagement rapidly. Due to a lack of an in-house UI/UX design team, they reached out to me for a quick consultation. During our first meeting, we discussed how we can improve the homepage to drive more user engagement and make the overall user experience better.
As an individual designer, I take every redesign task as a challenge to bring out the best features of a brand. For Asser, I wanted to design something that would be functional and provide an excellent user experience as well as reflect the creative excellence of the brand. After a thorough research I presented them with a few mockups and let them pick one that suited their taste.
For this design I wanted to focus on Asser’s work. The colour palette, typography and layout is kept minimalist to showcase the beautifully designed and built buildings. Every design choice in this project was made to compliment the actual highlights of Asser’s own creations.
As an experienced UI/UX designer, I aspire to create a design that will leave a lasting impression in users’ minds. For Asser this was crucial. That’s why the end result leads up to a balanced, modern homepage that guides the users to important parts of the web page without overwhelming them.
