Design of PharmacyRx - A Pharmacy Savings App

Background

Meet Emily—a middle-aged mother of two and the primary caregiver for her ageing mother. She often finds herself torn between affording life-saving medication and other essential needs for her family. 

The solution to Emily's dilemma? Affordable, life-saving medicines. 

PharmacyRX offers just that with their Gold Membership, providing up to 90% savings on prescriptions, virtual care visits for $19, free delivery, and more.

Challenge

PharmacyRX recognized that before they could effectively help customers like Emily, they needed to improve their own promotion strategy. The company had excellent service, in their Gold Membership, but it wasn’t reaching its full potential.

The PharmacyRX marketing team wanted to fix this issue by tweaking their app a little, so they contacted me. I worked closely with Mike, a senior marketing associate. Primarily through in-app marketing, they wanted to promote their Gold Membership and I could help by adjusting PharmacyRX app’s design.

Design Solution

I came up with a few solutions that could help my client!

Footer Banner Ad: I designed a custom Footer Banner Ad in neon blue, featuring a minimalist illustration of a prescription and an arrow directing users to the Membership Comparison Page.
Membership Comparison Page: This page shows the benefits of the Gold Membership compared to the Standard plan. The additional benefits are highlighted with a yellow column and black stars, making the advantages clear and appealing.

Subscription Options Page: Here, customers can choose the plan that best suits their needs. A yellow tag indicates a 25% savings on the annual plan, and the comparison between Individual and Family plans helps guide customers to the right choice.


Clear CTAs: Clear and concise calls-to-action encourage users to select the Gold Membership, smoothly guiding them from the home page to the payment page.

Conclusion 

I really enjoyed designing the PharmacyRX app. This project not only aimed to help PharmacyRX promote their subscription service but also to benefit customers who need affordable medication.Collaborating with their marketing team, I came up with a design that  increased conversion rate up to 45%. This is one of my favourite app designs that I’ve worked on recently.
